520 |a Die wirtschaftspolitische Strategie der DDR seit 1971 ist das Ergebnis einer von der UdSSR abhängigen Entwicklung, innenpolitischen Legitimationsdruckes und der besonderen innerdeutschen Beziehungen. Die DDR hat sich der internationalen Preisentwicklung der siebziger und frühen achtziger Jahre anpassen, ihre internationale Kreditwürdigkeit wieder herstellen, sich Zugang zu westlicher Technologie verschaffen und eine im RGW-Vergleich erfolgreiche Wirtschaftspolitik durchführen können. Die Verbindung aus zentraler Planwirtschaft sowjetischen Typs mit Unterstützungen aus dem Westen und wahrscheinlich auch der UdSSR haben eine funktionsfähige moderne Wirtschaft entstehen lassen.
